This is a very special Hanoverian x PRE mare that is elegant, uphill, modern, and talented for the FEI. Her personality is the icing on the cake. She is early in her under saddle training and excelling in athleticism and trainability, as well as having a curious and unflappable demeanor.
The sire, Tomillo VII, is a 16.2 hand grey Andalusian (PRE) stallion originally imported from Spain. He has obtained the coveted status of “Qualified” / “Calificado” in the Spanish Studbook (ANCCE). Less than 2% of all PREs are Qualified, and less than 20 exist in the USA. Tomillo was originally trained and shown at Grand Prix by Don Francisco Garcia, a Specialist Master Rider from the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. Tomillo then competed several seasons with Fie Andersen, helping her to obtain her Gold Medal. He was the very first PRE stallion in North America to be fully approved for breeding by the German Oldenburg Verband and is now only 1 of 4 PREs with this distinction. Foals by Tomillo and out of German Oldenburg Verband approved for breeding mares will receive full German pink papers.
